Membership of the association shall be opened only to those following and holding NDT (Nautical studies & Technology).
 
There shall be three classes of members.

• Ordinary members who shall be liable to pay membership fees as herein provided and include residing in Sri Lanka & overseas.
 
• Honorary members, from whom no membership fees shall be levied.
 
• Life members, a member eligible to apply for the life membership to the council on completion of 03 years continues membership.
 

Structure of Nautical Diplomates Association

There shall be a council of the association who shall be elected at the AGM each year consisting of
A president
A vice president
A secretary
An assistant secretary
Treasurer
An assistant treasurer
And a committee comprising of minimum of one member from each batch
